Cotswolds Wedding Planner, Producer & Professional Problem Solver

Meet Jessie McGregor

Your wedding should feel effortless. Behind the scenes, however, the best weddings rarely happen by accident. I’m Jessie McGregor, founder of Cotswolds Weddings, and I specialise in creating beautifully considered weddings across the Cotswolds, from elegant country-house celebrations to completely bespoke marquee and dry-hire weddings.

My approach is simple: beautifully planned, brilliantly executed and completely personal to you. I don’t just plan weddings. I produce them. Before turning my attention to weddings, I built my career in the world of advertising, working at the world's largest advertising agency and producing major television campaigns and high-profile live events. That experience shaped the way I work today.

I see a wedding much like a major production. There are hundreds of moving parts, multiple teams, tight timings, complicated logistics and, quite often, a few unexpected moments along the way. My job is to make sure none of that is something you have to worry about. From the first planning conversation through to the final guest leaving, I’m thinking about the detail, the logistics, the timings and most importantly how everything will feel for you and your guests. Because when it all works properly, you shouldn't notice the planning. You should simply enjoy your wedding.

Why the Cotswolds?

I’m a firm believer that great wedding planning comes from knowing your environment. The Cotswolds is an extraordinary place to get married, but it also comes with its own particular challenges. Beautiful historic properties, private estates, barns, gardens and blank-canvas venues can require an enormous amount of logistical planning behind the scenes. That’s where local knowledge makes all the difference.

Wedding planning can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming. There are decisions to make, suppliers to manage, budgets to consider and an extraordinary number of things that need to happen at exactly the right moment. My clients often tell me that one of the things they value most is having someone who stays calm when things get complicated. And things occasionally do get complicated. A supplier is delayed. The weather changes. A delivery doesn't arrive when expected. A timeline needs to move. That's when experience matters. I’m a natural problem solver. I don't believe in saying, “That can't be done.” I believe in finding a way.

I deliberately keep the number of weddings I take on each year relatively small. That means I can give each couple the time, attention and creative energy they deserve. You won't be passed from person to person. You won't become another date in a diary. I'll know your wedding, your plans, your priorities and your suppliers, and I'll be there to make sure everything comes together exactly as it should.
