Emily & Tim

Emily and Tim wanted a relaxed, immersive countryside wedding that felt effortlessly joyful yet meticulously considered. Their vision combined rustic charm with elevated details—bringing together a barn celebration, outdoor moments, and a festival-style atmosphere that unfolded naturally throughout the day.

At the heart of the brief was flow: ensuring every transition—from ceremony to drinks, dining to dancing—felt seamless, intuitive, and full of energy, without ever appearing over-produced.

Set against the historic backdrop of Stanway Tithe Barn, the day blended heritage architecture with soft, atmospheric styling. The barn became the anchor point, while the surrounding grounds were transformed into a series of inviting, sociable spaces.

The Vision

The Vision

Layered textures—hay bales, picnic benches, rattan seating, and soft throws—created a relaxed lounge environment outdoors, while inside, candlelight, fairy lights, and understated table styling elevated the dining experience.

As daylight faded, the entire space transitioned into a warm, glowing setting designed for celebration.

The Experience

From the outset, the guest journey was carefully choreographed.

Guests arrived to a beautifully set ceremony, followed by a vibrant drinks reception that unfolded across the grounds. A live mariachi band brought an unexpected burst of energy, setting the tone for an afternoon that felt both playful and memorable.

Food was designed as a shared experience. Seasonal canapés flowed into a wood-fired sharing feast—encouraging connection, conversation, and a sense of abundance. The pacing allowed guests to fully enjoy each moment, without ever feeling rushed.

As evening fell, the barn transformed once again. Candlelight was introduced, the bar opened, and the atmosphere shifted from relaxed elegance to celebration. The first dance marked the transition into a high-energy evening, with a live band carrying the party through to the final moments of the night.
